Insite Southern offer a complete
specialist service in the eradication of woodborer
infestation, fungal decay and dampness found in
buildings. Our principal activities are detailed
within this brochure but we further undertake stone and
masonry pressure cleaning together with the application
of exterior water repellents and algicides. We
use exclusively the “Wykamol” range of
products and techniques using “environmentally
friendly” chemicals and have the full backing of
their research and development.
As Southampton’s oldest
contractor, our enviable reputation has afforded us the
opportunity to undertake remedial treatments to many
domestic and commercial properties, churches, historic
buildings, stately homes and museums throughout
Southern England. We are approved contractors to
various Local Authorities, Housing Associations,
National Trust, English Heritage and leading Building
Societies.

Trained operatives and technical staff
are experienced and fully conversant with all aspects of
building preservation and conservation.
Inspections and reports are
normally “free of charge”, and detail the
nature and extent of infestation and decay, together
with any underlying structural defects. Dampness
is usually determined with the use of electronic
moisture meters but in certain circumstances, plaster,
brick and timber samples may be taken for laboratory
analysis. Estimates are also prepared in
conjunction with reports to illustrate the likely cost
of remedial works.
Treatments undertaken, usually
carry the benefit of a written 30 YEAR CERTIFICATE OF
GUARANTEE against the continuation or revival of the
attack or decay to those areas specified within our
report. Furthermore, as an accredited Wykamol
user and subject to additional charge our clients are
further protected by an insured secondary Guarantee as
administered by the Guarantee Protection Administration
Limited which becomes operative in the unlikely event
of financial failure or liquidation on our part.
